we were assured this was the best tim horton's in canada. tim was an ice hockey player who opened a coffee and donut bar in 1964. 'timmy's' is now a staple for us on canadian tours....especially the cream cheese everything bagel....yum!

my great stage debut with the tambourine....here with 'mixolydia', eoin coughlan and ditte fromseier. eoin and i found ourselves in the pub with nothing but a bodhrán, a shaker and a tambourine. our efforts in the session that night became something of a standing joke...here we got our own backs! |
